5 social media habits that take less than 30 minutes a week
Ticksit Team · 22 June 2026 · 4 min read
You don't need a full-time social media manager. With a simple routine and a scheduler, you can stay visible without burning out.
Consistency beats volume. A business that posts twice a week, every week, stays in people's feeds; one that posts daily for a fortnight and then vanishes does not.
- Batch once a week. Pick one 20-minute slot, write the week's posts and schedule them. Writing is faster in one sitting than in five.
- Write one message, adapt it per platform. LinkedIn wants a professional tone, Instagram a punchy caption, X something short. Ticksit's composer drafts each version for you to edit.
- Show, don't announce. A photo of the venue being set up does more than "Tickets on sale!".
- Reply within a day. Five minutes answering comments and messages is the cheapest reach you can buy.
- Look at what worked. Once a month, note your two best posts and do more of that.
That is the whole system: a weekly batch, a scheduler and a monthly look back. Thirty minutes a week, and your channels stay alive.
