No partial refunds. Access continues until the period ends.

What if Ticksit is down for 24+ hours?

You can request an account credit within 14 days.

Can I get a ticket refund?

Ticket refunds are set by the event organiser, not Ticksit.

When do I get paid as an organiser?

Within 2 business days of the event taking place.

01

Subscription Refunds

Ticksit subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period — you keep full access to all features and data during this time.

General rule

We do not issue refunds for partial subscription periods. If you're on an annual plan and cancel mid-year, you will not receive a pro-rated refund for unused months.

Exception: service outage

If you experience a platform outage attributable to Ticksit lasting more than 24 consecutive hours, you may request a credit to your account. Submit your request to support@ticksit.co.za within 14 days of the incident, with supporting details.

02

Free Trial

Your 14-day free trial gives you full access to all Ticksit modules at no cost. No credit card is required to start.

Cancellation

You may cancel your trial at any time before it expires with absolutely no charge. Once a paid subscription begins, the standard subscription refund policy above applies.

03

Event Ticket Refunds (Buyers)

Ticksit is the ticketing platform. Refund terms for individual events are set by the event organiser, not by Ticksit. Before purchasing, review the event's refund and cancellation policy on the event page.

If an event is cancelled

If the organiser cancels the event, Ticksit will facilitate a full refund of the ticket price to the original payment method within 7 business days.

Dispute resolution

If you cannot resolve a ticket refund dispute with the organiser directly, email support@ticksit.co.za with your order reference and a description of the issue. We will investigate and assist in reaching a fair resolution.

04

Organiser Payouts

Ticket sale proceeds are disbursed to the organiser's nominated South African bank account within 2 business days after the event takes place.

Chargebacks & cancellations

In the event of buyer chargebacks or event cancellations requiring refunds to ticket buyers, the corresponding amounts will be deducted from future payouts or recovered from the organiser if their account balance is insufficient.

For pre-event payouts, organisers on Growth or Scale plans may request early disbursement at our discretion. Contact your account manager or support@ticksit.co.za.

05

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or raise a billing dispute, email support@ticksit.co.za with:

  • Your account email address
  • Your order or subscription reference number
  • A clear description of the issue and the refund you are requesting
  • Any supporting documentation or screenshots

06

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.

The Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 provides you with a cooling-off period of 5 business days for certain transactions concluded electronically or remotely. Where this applies, we will honour your right of return.

Need help with a refund?

Email support@ticksit.co.za with your account details and we'll get back to you within 1 business day. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
