How Ticksit started

The team behind Ticksit were running their own events business in Cape Town. Every week felt like a juggling act: Quicket for tickets, Mailchimp for emails, Buffer for social, Google Sheets for contacts. Four subscriptions. Four logins. Zero integration.

The turning point came after a sold-out event where none of the attendees ended up on the mailing list. The data was trapped with no way to act on it. A perfect event, with no way to follow up with a single person.

So they built Ticksit, starting with the one thing they needed most: an event ticketing system that automatically adds attendees to your mailing list. Then came email marketing, social scheduling, AI insights and automation.
